Meadowsweet – Venusta, 1 Pack

Description:

Filipendula rubra - Venusta

A towering and elegant Queen of the Prairie, Filipendula rubra Venusta boasts frothy clusters of deep rose-pink blossoms tinged with salmon that cascade above deeply cut, maple-like foliage from midsummer into early autumn. Reaching 46ft (120180cm) tall and 34ft (90120cm) wide, it forms bold, architectural clumps ideal for back borders, rain gardens, or naturalized plantings. Thriving in consistently moist, humus-rich soils under full sun to part shade, it is low-maintenance once established and long-loved for its dramatic presence. Fragrant, pollinator-friendly, and deer-resistant, this award-winning cultivar gracefully self-sows to form colonies over time.
