Tephrocactus articulatus var. strobiliformis

Description:

Perhaps the Tephrocactus that resembles a pine-cone the most, this acrobatic little cactus from Mexico is a real gem. Like its kin, it tries its best at a balancing act, with each segment daintily perched on the next. Some may fall but they are well adapted to rooting and starting all over again.

WATERING

In Summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% - water sparingly (every two months). Spring gradually increase watering - depending on temp and light exposure.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years using cacti & succulent compost mixed with perlite or gravel.

FEED

Use a cactus feed from March - November every other time you water.
