Principe Borghese Tomato

Description:

Principe Borghese (Solanum lycopersicum) is an Italian heirloom specifically bred for sun-drying, retaining more flavor when dried than most other tomato varieties. The slightly oval, 1 oz fruits are ideal for traditional Italian cooking, especially when reconstituted in olive oil, and can also be crushed into small flakes to quickly thicken sauces while adding rich tomato flavor. This determinate variety is a must-grow for preserving and culinary use.
