Good Mother Stallard Bean (Pole)

Description:

Good Mother Stallard Bean is a prized Appalachian heirloom pole bean with striking mottled maroon and white seeds and a rich, complex, nutty flavor that develops beautifully in slow-cooked soups, stews, and braised dishes. A versatile dual-purpose bean that can be harvested young as a snap bean or left to dry for use as a flavorful shell bean, it's the kind of multi-generational heirloom that rewards the gardener who discovers it with a flavor impossible to find in any store.
