Costoluto Genovese Tomato

Description:

Costoluto Genovese is a spectacular Italian heirloom with deeply ribbed, scarlet-red fruits and a bold, intensely flavored flesh with a higher acid content that makes it the authentic choice for Italian sauces, sun-dried tomatoes, and any preparation where rich, concentrated tomato flavor is the goal. The unusual lobed shape is as beautiful as it is functional the deep ridges increase surface area for faster drying and more sauce per fruit. A true Italian kitchen garden essential.
