Aster – Alert, 1 Pack

Description:

Aster novibelgii Alert

A compact, moundforming perennial reaching 1015 tall and wide, 'Alert' produces clusters of double-rich crimsonred daisystyle blooms with sunny yellow centers from late summer into early fall. Its vivid autumn color makes it a standout in borders, containers, or cutflower displays, while its blooms draw butterflies and hummingbirds. Preferring rich, moist, welldrained soil and full sun, this variety tolerates occasional drought and offers excellent resistance to powdery mildew. Deer and rabbits generally avoid it, adding to its lowmaintenance appeal.
