Description:
Overview
Meet the AQDD DEX2422Z2 metal reinforced seal replacement, a purpose-built ring designed to pair with Hayward DE and cartridge filters. With an impressive 20.75-inch diameter and a substantial 2-pound weight, this seal signals a robust build engineered for steady operation through backwashes and routine maintenance. The package includes a 10 g tube of silicone grease to help ensure a smooth, even seal during reassembly.
Why choose a metal reinforced seal
This seal blends durable materials with a metal backbone, delivering enhanced strength and steady contact across the sealing surfaces. In real-world pool care, a reinforced seal can help maintain consistent pressure and reduce the chance of minor leaks during filtration cycles. The result is peace of mind and fewer mid-season adjustments, without making guarantees about outcomes.
