Triticale

Description:

Triticale is a modern grain developed by crossing wheat and rye to create something genuinely superior to both higher in protein than either parent grain, with a nutty, slightly sweet flavor and excellent baking properties that make it outstanding for artisan breads, hearty muffins, and homemade flour with more nutrition than standard wheat flour. A productive, easy-to-grow crop for homesteaders and self-sufficient gardeners who want to grind their own flour from genuinely nutritious, homegrown grain.
